Electronics design
Vymore designs and delivers electronic PCB's or printed circuit boards according to your requirements. Electronics design, often referred to as electronics circuit design or electronic engineering, is the process of creating and developing solutions that perform specific functions. Nowadays electronics are the basis of every embedded device and can be find in your computer, smartphone, washing machine etc., from simple consumer gadgets to complex industrial control systems.
The electronic design starts with a clear definition of your requirements and conformance to applicable standards like e.g., CE or UL. A schematic diagram is created that goes together with component selection, hereby using as much as possible easily accessible components. This is sometimes followed by circuit simulation or an actual test of a specific section. With a schematic and component list, also referred to as BOM or bill of materials, the PCB layout is created. From this stage and previously mentioned component selection, the required conformance to industry standards have to be taken into account. Also, specific testing procedures and production techniques have an impact on the PCB layout. Now a first prototype is built, software is written when programmable chips are used. The first prototype design is tested and depending on the complexity it goes through a few PCB layout improvement rounds. Also at this stage, when CE is required, EMC pre-compliance testing is done. With the final design ready all is adequately documented to have the dedicated files, like Gerber files, required for production. After successful full compliance testing the design is released for production. Now it's a matter of keeping track of the availability of the selected components. Updates and modifications due to changing requirements are part of the lifecycle management of the design.
Vymore has experience in creating a successful design. Multiple designs are in the field with a lifespan goal of several decades.
